Question:Why do some people pray out loud when they pray?

Answer: Because the Bible tells us in Acts 4:24 "They lifted up their voice to God with one accord." When we pray in our hearts we can often get distracted by our thoughts of the day and suddenly find ourselves thinking more about our daily situations than on prayer. When we are praying out loud we have to concentrate on what we're saying, thus we stay focused.
