Pastor Scott Stevens along with his wife & Assistant Pastor, Valerie Stevens were both born and raised in the Lakeshore area. After having experienced the healing power of Jesus Christ themselves, they felt there was a great need on the Lakeshore for a strong Bible based church where people could come and have a deep intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
Scott interned at Meadowbrook Church in Green Bay, Wisconsin until 1992 when he and his wife recieved a calling to return to their home town of Two Rivers and plant a new church. Scott and Valerie were approved as Home Missionaries to Manitowoc County in 1993 by the Wisconsin District Home Missions Department of the United Pentecostal Church International(UPCI) and began the church that is today known as Abundant Life Church.
Scott is an ordained minister in the United Pentecostal Church International (www.upci.org) and has been actively involved in Corrections Ministries, Christian Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs, Church Planting, Training of Leadership and Local Community Outreach
Scott is currently the Wisconsin District UPCI Sectional Foreign Missions Director, Bible College Instructor for Purpose Institute and has instructed in International Ministries. He has served in the past as the Sectional Secretary/Treasurer for the Wisconsin District UPCI.
Scott is also a United States military historian, researcher and collector focusing on military Chaplains and Medical personel.
Scott and Valerie have two adult children, Rick and Travis. Rick works as a Firefighter/Paramedic in Houston, Texas. Travis works in Security at the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant. Both are married and have provided tons of fun with 5 grandchildren.
